The NYPD and the FBI said they foiled an alleged plot to kill a Palestinian activist, according to law enforcement officials and unsealed court documents.
Authorities arrested Alexander Hefler in Hoboken Thursday night on charges of illegal possession of firearms and illegal manufacture of firearms. He is also accused of conspiring to “go after” activist Nerdin Kiswani, co-founder of Within Our Lives and an organizer of several pro-Palestinian protests in New York City.
Keswani was not identified by name in the criminal complaint, but she posted on social media that the FBI had informed her that she was the alleged target.
