Dev Diwali ,is a significant Hindu festival which is also known as Dev Deepawali or the Diwali of Gods. It falls on the 15th day of Hindu month Kartik which usually corresponds to November and December.
The Significance of Dev Diwali:
Dev Diwali is a time to honor and pay homage to the Gods and Goddesses. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that on this day, the Gods descend to Earth to bathe in the holy water of the Ganga River. People believe that by lighting lamps and offering prayers, they can invite the Gods into their homes and seek their blessings. It is a celebration of spiritual triumph of the GOOD over EVIL, spiritual awakening, and , purity.
