“On February 22, at approximately 1:30 a.m., U.S. Secret Service agents shot a man in his early 20s and a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) deputy after an unauthorized entry into the secure perimeter at Mar-a-Lago,” a Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement.
The statement continued: “The person, whose identity has been withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead. The person was spotted at the north gate of the Mar-a-Lago property carrying what appeared to be a rifle and a fuel can.”
