A private plane carrying eight people crashed while taking off from Bangor International Airport in Maine on Sunday evening, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The agency said that the Bombardier Challenger 600 plane was the one that caused the accident, which occurred around 7:45 p.m. local time.
The identities and conditions of the passengers were not revealed. The FAA and NTSB are investigating.
