Iran live updates: Trump says war ‘will be over soon’

President Donald Trump said he didn’t “know enough” about the deadly attack on an Iranian girls’ school when asked about the incident during a news conference on Monday.
The US military was striking targets in Iran in an area where an elementary school was bombed and dozens of children were killed on February 28, sources told ABC News.

Asked on Monday whether the United States would accept any responsibility for the strike, Trump said the missile was “very general.”
“I will say that the Tomahawk missile, which is one of the most powerful weapons that exists, is used, you know, and it is sold and used by other countries,” he said, adding that Iran “also has some Tomahawk missiles.”

Trump said the incident was being investigated.
“I don’t know enough about that,” he said.
He added: “Whatever the report shows, I am willing to live with this report.”
